Long Weekend of August 13

That long weekend was terrible and amazing at the same time :(
These days I had been thinking in all tests that today we havent yet done, but on the other hand I could see my grandmother, she went to my house to stay for a long time, and also my cousin who I didnt see two moths ago, visited me with her parents so I was the happiest :)! Definitely the best day was the Monday. On friday of that same week was my birthday and Fantasilandia have promotion that consists in get a free ticket on your birthday week, so I took the opportunity and went with my boyfriend.
There wasn't many people,therefore I could ride all the roller coasters and some games more than twice, and see "The Monga" (is very boring butthe effect so badly done made me laugh)☼. Finally at the exit, we went to O´higgins park where all families was in the grass eating and playing, The environment was beautiful and the wind perfect to raise volantines. Spring is come !! Well... the saddest part: Monday night. I had to finish an epistemology homework, a subject difficult to me because in the frist test I get a 1 due to send it later u.u . Wherever I imagine the end isn't yet .

How I Imagine in 10 Years o:

In ten years more I will be a miss of 29 years old!. I imagine living in Chile probably work in something related with the environment. I would like to be a protectress of the main natural resources our country has, and be part of a group that provide sustainable and beneficial ideas for the country. I'll be a lady who start campaigns to protect the animals and the water. Also, i think I'll have my own hause where I can apply my own rules . This home must be original, and with my creativity gradually have more interesting and weird furniture ... With the help of my dad because he enjoy that kind of activities, like build or create. Obviously I'll need some company, so I hope to live near of my family in Buin, my city♥ although... due to my job, truly I don't think be able to work there, so I'll live in the south. .Im sure at least two cats with fruit names will inhabit my house, and I'll living with somebody who is extroverted, enjoy doing new things for don't become a boring couple. In that way I'll be happy. About children...no..I like so much to see and play with them a while, but they bore me quickly. I think because of my way of being, at that age surely I will be poor because I'm messy, I lose things and I have trouble saving, but as geographer I will be very requested. I don't imagine traveling around the world yet, but in a decade Chile will have a breakdown in its organization, I just hope that pollution doesnt advance much :(. 

A Gift CD

  The truth is that I only have bought CDs of pirated movies at the fair and never of music, because when I was little wasn't fan of any musical style, in my preadolescence used my mp4 and now I keep everything on the phone or access to youtube.

 Despite all this, actually have a vinyl record that is now stuck right on my wall, it's very nice and gives style to my room besides being a great memory for me. I got it when I was 16 during my first party which finally was not in the house of a friend but in a disco, located in my commune, Buin. The great thing was that the national holidays were celebrated so here had a great time and it was unforgettable. I went there with some friends and met more people, Among them there was a boy called Nicolas  who I don´t talk more,but I think he stole the disk from the wall and gave it to me. This is written in large letters "YAMIL" "FUISTE MIA EN VERANO" and on the other side "Y VERAS".I don't know what songs it contains and if a record player could reproduce its content but it's pretty cute, and broken. Well, it will go on forever on my wall because if I take it out, wall painting probably will be ruined too, besides I really want to keep it. That's my story.

A Member of my Family - My Daddy

   There are many people from my family who inspires me and one of them is my father, Luis. He is 54 years old. He is a very complete dad, by this I mean for example he not only meets "his father rol" but also gladly and voluntarily performs all kinds of actions that in this world are considered specific for women, although thanks to life that thought is not as strong in society.A few years ago he left his job as helicopter mechanic and began to grow in other areas, such as the construction, building the second floor of our house with his own hands, he, all alone. And also he is dedicated to the sculptures, as it has created really pretty flowerpots for the plants, usually with animal forms.

Perhaps what I like most about him is his ability to harness all their talents and also that he always wants to learn about more topics. He reads constantly, learn new things to be a contribution not only to the family but also to neighbors who has helped considerably without expecting anything in return.I love him too much, although his love hurts me, his hugs are very tight and sometimes I can't go to the bathroom, because he doesn't let me go and makes me angry.
Anyway he makes me laugh a lot and I think that's the only person I know who never takes off his smile no matter what happens.

A Place to be Fat!

 Definitely if I have to talk about a place to eat, it is about the local fast food,"El Mechon". Since I'm a university student it has become my favorite place to go and eat, and of many students, because it's located in a corner of the university district of Republica in front of a park, more specifically at the intersection between the streets and Abdon Cifuentes Grajales,a busy place.

 It has won all my heart with its completo + drink = $700.The glass of drink is enough and the best part is the completo is not small as in Doggis or McDonalds.In addition to having cheap food, the place has games like machines, taca-tacas and several tables where you can enjoy the food. Obviously, at some time it collapses due to its popularity ,but attention is still immediate and the food is made instantly, that is why go there makes me happy the days of poverty when I don't have much money,but I'm starving,  and then I can move on to stand at the park with my friends, so I recommend it. Go there all students who love junk food. :D

A Beach to Enjoy

Hello Everyone :) !

Today will talk about the beach where I vacationed every summer when I was little with my uncles, We always went to the same but I loved to go so it doesn't matter.  It is located in the Valparaiso region south of El Quisco,and is called Punta de Tralca. Tralca is a word in mapudungun that means thunder. It has been baptized with that name because it has a breakwater where a range of water is formed, and that's one of the things that I like.On that beach I have my best memories, once we count up to three with my cousin and just at that moment spent two falling stars at the same time, it was surprising. Also with a bike of two people accidentally collided a red truck. Water is exquisite, to stay all day inside, because it's clean and resembles a swimming pool, almost there are no waves so you can swim with ease, also the sand is clean with a light color.Called my attention that in the rockery a lot of people have chosen to die, so there to climb the rocks we must be careful. Anyway it is an ideal place to spend a nice day with family, playing paddles, walking, and also has many Restaurants and cabins near to the beach.It isn't as well known apparently. So I recommend it!

A SPECIAL COUNTRY: TURKEY


I've never been outside of Chile, so it would be great visit any country, because actually all have their grace, but to choose I say that I would like to visit Turkey, but rather their city, Istanbul.

This is the most populous city and has more than 14 million people. I would go in search of observing a very different culture from ours, discover for myself how people live their daily lives and their main traditions. It is also listed as one of the most beautiful places in the world and is a tourist destination for many, which means it has great things to show.I would like to visit places for example the Blue Mosque with its pointed pillars, it really is very nice.The the suspension bridge of one kilometer Fatih Sultan Mehmet, palaces that have and the environment in general, at least in the internet pictures look stunning, at night should be a spectacle. Besides contemplate, it would be great taste food . Ideally I would do the trip alone, because i would be able to make decisions i want.But that would be hard because of all the problems that occur along the way, so I really have to get a good friend to accompany me.

Today I'll talk about one of the tourist sites of London we saw in class: Madame Tussauds.


This is the best known wax museum in the world, one of the most visited attractions in London. Its popularity result from the figures exhibited correspond to celebrities. It is very interesting because it is about making an exact copy of a person in 3D, so maybe it look like you're really seeing the person, are wonderful and perfect pieces, too realistic!.
I'd like to go there some day to witness the works for myself. If you want to go you must know that is on Marylebone Road, on the corner with Allsop Place and can be reached by subway, with the nearest Baker Street station. Prices become more economical as the day progresses and ranging from 23 £ 0.79.

I'll talk about a building located in Valparaiso, which I knew when I went to the beach with my friends on a summer day. While I'm on the bus I usually fall asleep or star to play but this time as I was looking out the window I noticed the existence of the Federico Santa Maria University, and woow, I was enchanted .It has a total of 7 hectares of neogothic style, its majesty makes it one of the most beautiful architectures of the city .
The headquarters was opened in 1931 on the hill Placere de Valparaíso, and opens the door to teaching activities with the aim of training technicians in science and technology.Today is one of the most prestigious universities in our country,It is famous for its high quality education, be always clean and tidy, in addition to its wide open spaces and green areas with a spectacular ocean view,that makes it even more pleasant, so it is definitely ideal for any student who wants to train as a professional. The large size and materials used for its construction, give to the university an air of superiority and power, as shown in the picture, and distinguishes it from all that is around, such a popular environment full of colors and disorganized like Valparaiso.

Mom's art

If I had to chose only one piece of art, this would be some of Pierre Auguste Renoir ,because I really love realist paintings, that give an impression of softness depth and movement like “Muchachas en el piano“ . But definitely I have to pick one of my mother.

  In my family all are good artist in general , especially in the painting and before my birth  my mom made using only témpera her artistic creation  where shows the mountain, the lake , and a cute llama painted underneath with a fine paint brush. It doesn't have a name and it has been in her room from the day of its creation but i would hang it in the living room to contemplate it while I am eating . I love this because have many details and also the colors are lights ,what inspire me peace and harmony , besides, that seems more valuable to me and for that reason I picked it, is that simply it was make on block paper using and mixing tempera. I can say this work turned cheap to mi mom.I don't now how many time she delayed but she spended in a good way her time and aplied an excellent technique. Personally I love works without fiction, that represent the reality,and shows landscapes or portraits.

 
  A SONG OF PEACE

Today I really like the song Peace Song .From the day it came out, I have been singing it  not always but before going to sleep or when I relax on my way to home. This comes from the indie rock band Never Shout Never or nsn, which I met about 5 years ago at the school because my classmates also liked them and we always sang together.

In truth, I have always liked only the lead singer Christofer Drew, first because his voice is beautiful, I like their original way of singing, the letters that composes are nice and almost always accompanied by the ukulele, which gives a sound a little more sweet songs, so  I feel I will be able to enjoy for a long time. I knew of his existence due to I listened the song Love Sick in 2010, But "Peace Song" that came out five months ago, is much smoother, and as indicated its title speaks about praying for peace, the letter is very cute and the special way Drew sings gives to it one thing I don't know what is exactly but I like it. _ Besides there is a part where it have whistling, and I like to whistle, so I can do it together with the song .

   Hi everyone, I'm remember one of the best and happiest moments I  had live, that was when I turned eighteen. That day, 19 of august,I celebrate my birthday in  my house whith my family and best friends , who are like my other little family. Whith them I spended all night  and  that photograph was take with the timer in the morning when we were all exhausted, in my sister's room , but before it was mine too. I like it because return to mi mind many memories of not only what were we doing at that moment, but there faces, laughs, jokes and all the sillines we  always was saying . We get on so well. Today,  due to I´m in the university I can't see them  frequently and I'm missing them a lot but when I look all the photos I smile alone. This photos taken without prior notice are the best, because reflect the rial moment
  . Now I can't use my bedroom in that way, I sleep in a little room but I'm alone , my sister don't provoke me, I do what I want,when I want , I can see the house of my neighbour and we do signs to comunicate  , also always I like take photographs from my window

An Interesting Place:

  Hello everyone , because I really don´t like Santiago , I don´t kwow about so many place that can be special , but I like art and one of the few places I visit on my own is the National Museum of fine arts, the last year, with my best friend Jared.
      I like how it can be so peaceful there and you can view quietly with plenty of time all the paintings, photographys, engravings and different sculptures. I enjoy take notice on the mix of colors, firgures and the technique in general more than meaning in itself. The works can use all the wall and that day was so fascinating to seeing a mountain of clothes that take the first floor and arrive to the second, and it was in perfect conditions. Also the infrastructure of the building is amazing because have a lot of space and big pillars with designs made carfully as the lines or angels . It´s the first museum of art in latinoamerica and was founded on september of 1880 , also it was declared historical  monument since 1976, that prove its importance. This place have a lot of exhibitions constantly of diferent artist, and it's good to go there because it count with educational worshop and courses, I only have been there once but someday i'll come back.

      So I invite you to visit the Museum of Fine Arts :)!

                                           

Fatastic Creations~
   I have not much knowledge of great architectural works or an architect in particular ,so I was researching on the internet until I found the peculiar designs of Frank Gehry, an American contemporary architect who is 87 years old and caught my attention for their creations, unusual and impactful. What I admire about this professional is that in contrast to common designs of nowadays, Gerhy applies to his work many curves and weird shapes, being able to achieve the functionality of the building and at the same time produce wonderful pieces of art.  Cities should have more unique buildings like Frank Gehry'inventions and fewer buildings repeated like dominos along the streets, all boring and similar.
    He's part of descontructivism movement which is known for generating chaos, but under control, such as in his work Bodega-Hotel Marqués de Riscal in Elciego (Alava).



 I love the proyect in which he participated, "Dancing House",building in Prague, it's amazing .You can see it in the following picture:

  My name is Francisca Belén Gonzalez Tamayo, I am 18 years old and I'm actually studying Geography, but I'm just trying, because I'm not convinced yet. In fact I am a very insecure person and  I take a long time to choose something, really even the most simple. I am also very dependent, so always want stay with someone and i'm not used to be alone. I live with my parents and my two brothers in Buin. I love living here because I can go to the river and the hills are nearby. My hobbies are do outdoor activities, watch what are people doing, that others tell me their lives, do weird things among other things. I love cats, in fact I have my lovely pet, Pepino. My major defects are being lazy (I'm write this late) and very distracted, so it`s hard to me be concentrated in a task like read. I hate reading, and it causes me many problems. Anyway, To the moment I hope continue meeting beautiful people at FAU, and i'm available for anyone who needs me .Just be honest because y hate liers.
